Merle is currently the Co-Secretary of the Honolulu Blend Show Chorus.
Though Merle has been barbershopping for only 5 years, she has already had quite an active career! She is a member of HBSC and Na Leo Lani, and has competed with both San Diego and Greater Auckland Choruses. She is also a member of the choir at Central Union Church.
Merle is retired and enjoys duplicate bridge, knitting and walking. She has 2 sons and 4 grandchildren and has been designated a "super" blood donor.
